About David J. Kurtz, Managing Member, KMS Capital Group, LLC David, the leader of the Kurtz family private equity effort, has 20 years experience in the business world, in corporate finance, business unit management, and business ownership roles. David is a graduate of the William Penn Charter School, The University of Pennsylvania (BA, Economics), and The Pennsylvania State University (MBA, Finance). David spend his early career (pre- and post- MBA) in leveraged lending and corporate finance, and moved into entrepreneurial roles, first as a Partner in a successful financial software company, and most recently started up, built, and successfully sold a financial and engineering recruitment/staffing firm over a 4 year period. Currently, David serves as General Partner, AJM Capital Partners, Managing Member, KMS Capital Group, and a board member of the Kurtz Family Foundation. David is married with 3 children, and resides in the Philadelphia area.
